Actions / Missions

To bring together, federate and support European organisations whose main mission is to provide care, support or accommodation for young people who are excluded, homeless or experiencing family breakdown as a result of discrimination and violence linked to sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression;

Promote the exchange of good practice and cooperation between Federation members to improve standards of care and support for vulnerable young LGBTIQ+ people in Europe.

Ensure, promote and support the creation, development and networking of structures wishing to pursue the same objectives of reception and accommodation, in particular through training, advice and the provision of tools and resources.

Actively combat social exclusion, discrimination and violence based on sexual and affective orientation, gender identity or expression, by advocating inclusive and protective public policies.
Promote, coordinate or participate in any action, research, study or training aimed at strengthening the capacities of professionals in the reception, support and accommodation of LGBTIQ+ people.

Organize or take part in any awareness-raising, advocacy and anti-LGBTIQ+-phobia action in all areas - educational, social, cultural, sporting, health, family, professional or political - in order to promote, within society, understanding, acceptance and respect for the sentimental, sexual and gender diversity of teenagers and young adults.

Promote the prevention of psychosocial risks, particularly in terms of mental health and suicide prevention, in particular by supporting campaigns, educational tools and counselling services tailored to LGBTIQ+ young people.

Support and participate in projects and establish partnerships with any public or private organisation that shares the Federation's values.
